Boudoir Photography Pricing in Charleston, SC
Let me guess why you are here.
You have seen the photographs. Maybe you have already pictured yourself in one. And now you want to know the part almost nobody puts on their website. What does this actually cost?
I will tell you. Plainly, and right here on the page.
I think that is only fair. You should be able to know what a boudoir session costs before you ever pick up the phone, not after a string of emails designed to get you on a call first. So here it is.
How much does a boudoir session cost?
The session is $399.
That is the fee to book your time with me, and it includes everything the day is built on:
- A styling and design consultation, where we plan your whole look together before the shoot
- Up to three wardrobe changes
- About two hours with me in the studio
- Full preparation of your portraits after the session
- A private, cinematic in-person presentation, where you see your finished images for the first time
- An 8x10 portrait, mounted on an 11x14 mat, a $250 value
That mounted portrait is yours as part of the session. Or, if you would rather, you can put that $250 value toward artwork instead. Your choice, and you make it once you have actually seen your images.
What about the artwork?
Here is the honest part, because I would rather you hear it from me than wonder.
Beyond the session, many women choose to invest in artwork. Albums. Wall pieces. A collection of the images they fell in love with. That is where this work really comes to live, on a wall or in your hands, instead of buried on a hard drive.
I do not publish those prices, and there is a real reason, not a sales trick. You cannot know which images you will want until you see them. Nobody can. A woman walks into her presentation sure she wants one print, and walks out having fallen for six. Or the other way around. Pricing artwork in advance would mean asking you to decide in the abstract, about photographs that do not exist yet.
So we do it the way it should be done. You see your finished portraits, beautifully presented. You decide what you love. And then, only then, we talk about bringing those specific pieces home. There is no pressure in that room. There never is.
What I can give you now is the number that lets you plan. The session is $399. The rest is yours to decide when you can finally see what you are deciding about.
Is it worth it?
That is a different question from what it costs, and it deserves its own answer. I wrote that one out properly on my is boudoir photography worth it page.
The short version: you already spend money, happily, on things that are gone by Monday. A boudoir shoot is one of the few that stays.
