Hate Your Photos? Kristina Did Too. Until...

This is a story of courage, and it's one of my favorites.

Kristina had done a boudoir session years ago and ended up not liking any of the photos.

Imagine that. You summon the courage to do something daring, only to be disappointed by the results.

Would you try again?

It takes courage to face your insecurities. It takes listening to that voice inside you that urges you to take a risk, knowing that you might get hurt, if not physically, emotionally.

What if the experience confirms your worst fears? What if you end up feeling worse about yourself?

Well, what if it is successful and you finally see yourself as a fascinating woman? What if you are more beautiful than you thought? What if you see something that you didn't see before?

You don't know until you know.

Kristina listened to that voice. The voice that told her to do that daring thing.

And I'm so glad she did.

You do it for yourself. To feel desirable. Fascinating. Alluring. And yes, sexy. But all that is for you and you alone.

This is your "oxygen mask moment." Your time to be happy.

Because experiencing joy is a perfectly good reason.
